The Blue Harbor Resort in Sheboygan, WI, is ideally located on the banks of Lake Michigan in the Harbor Centre district of Sheboygan.
While owned by the Great Lake Companies (Great Wolf Lodge, etc.), this resort is designed to be a 'resort' first and a 'water park' second. You will not find the expansive water park attractions here that are present at the Great Wolf Lodge resorts, and the lobby design is that of a high-class contemporary resort, not of a 'kids-oriented' resort. That is not to say that the resort is not kid-friendly, just that its primary purpose differs from that of the Great Wolf Lodge resorts.
The indoor water park is large but geared more toward children 10 and under. Older kids and adults may become bored more quickly than they would at the Great Wolf Lodge or similar scale indoor water park resort. The water park features 7 water slides, 12 levels of fountains and spray guns, log and net crossing, and a tipping ship. There is not outdoor water park area.
